Introducing Konnie

    Hi! My name is Konnie and I am almost 5 years old.  I love to play with my toys and go for walks.   I am a good boy and never mess in the house and I even let my foster home sleep in on the weekends.  I love other greyhounds (I have a foster brother) and as you can see in the pictures below can sit on command.

     I am still looking for a forever home to call my own, but it has to be an extra special one since I am so special!  You see, sometimes things that shouldn’t scare me do scare me.  Like if a stranger tries to pet me or even if my foster Mom or Dad try to give me a hug.  I follow them around all day and just want to be around them, but I don’t like it when they get too close like giving me a hug.  If they do get to close, sometimes I’ll growl or snap.  Don’t get me wrong, I love to be petted and am a champion leaner (or so I’ve been told) but I’ll come see you when I’m ready.

     I don’t like kitties or small doggies and since kids sometimes don’t understand boundaries, I can’t live with them either.   I also have a thyroid problem that is controlled with very inexpensive medications, I even come with a 6 month supply of them.
