My name is Hero and I am getting ready for my forever home. I'll be three years old in April. I've attended the CT Prison Program, and I learned some great manners there. I can sit, lay down, give you my paw, and I can wait until I'm released. Best of all, I am potty trained!  I enjoy being in the same room as my family, and I like to play with toys. I am well-behaved around food, and I love to have visitors come to the house. I'm not a fan of cats, and I prefer to be around other greyhounds.  Over the past few months. I have certainly lived up to my name by being strong and courageous because my eyes have started to cloud up.  I've been seeing a special canine ophthalmologist, and my foster family will be able to tell you more after my next appointment in March. But, I know I am loving and sweet, and I can't wait to meet my forever family who will love me and care for me.

Will it be you?
